We’re Victorious

Sermon Date:  April 13, 2016

Sermon Topic: We’re Victorious

Sermon Notes:

We already have the victory, but living a victorious life is up to us. The truth will set you free. You can live a fulfilled life. God is the source of victory.

Psalms 62:11 – the power belongs to God – He gave us the power to overcome every obstacle. Chronicles 29:12 – when our lives line up with the word of God he gives us the strength to live victoriously.

Chronicles 29:15 – the battle is not yours but the Lord. God give us the victory in every circumstance. Being given the victory and behaving as if you have the victory are two different things.  You have to have the faith to believe and do. You must kno where the battle ground is. The battle ground is in your mind. You must organize your thought life.

We make mistakes but we get up.

2 Corinthians 10:5 – take thoughts captive with the armor of God. When our thinking aligns with the word of God, I never magnify the problem above my position.

We are new creatures. We are in Christ. We must remember that we can do all things through Christ. My eyes might focus on something that’s too much but I have the power of God to overcome the situation.

What David saw didn’t change or detour what he knew. When you see things don’t let it influence what you know. Position yourself for positive thinking. Everything wont be rosy everyday. Don’t focus on the negativity.

No matter the situation, be careful for nothing. Philippians 4:6 – let your requests be made know to God. There is a time to speak and a time not to say a word.

There are times when you don’t need to share what you deal with, with everyone. No one else can help you besides God.

Don’t allow worry to enter into your life. The victory has already been achieved by God, not people.

God will take care of the circumstances in our lives. Vain is the help of man – give us help from trouble, Lord. Through God we’ll be victorious.

There are times when God sends someone in your life to help you, but the help is coming from God. We must acknowledge God for the victory we have. Cast down anxiety and worry. Anxiety and worry cause isolation, unplanned actions, distrust, can cause spiritual backsliding – exactly where the enemy wants you.

The difference between men and women who fail or succeed is the ability to handle pressure. Understand the value of difficulty. Understand the power belongs to God. All things will work together for me.

We can’t let what we know or don’t know cloud what God can do. His plan is already set.

God’s will is always best for his children.
